I was needing a new pad to use for my mouse at work. My old pad was the standard sized one (7.5x8.5"), which was not big enough for me. My mouse was constantly falling off one of the sides. I have a glass top on my desk, so using the tabletop was out of the question. I have a similar pad as this at home that I use for my personal desk. This one is much better than the one I got for my personal use! Here are a few pros/cons of this mat:Pros:- Price: I paid just under $10 USD for this pad. That is a steal in my opinion. I've seen these things go much higher for quality that is as good as this one. I'd be willing to pay $15 to $20 for this no question.- Comfort: It is padded a bit, so I have it slightly draped over the edge of my desk top.-Size: This is much larger than I expected, which is not necessarily a bad thing. I have space for my keyboard and mouse with plenty of room on each side so I will not have an issue with my mouse movement, my bluetooth conference speaker, my cell phone, and a mobile scanner. This thing is big.- Sticking power: The bottom side of the pad is rubbery so it holds well to slick surfaces. Unless I'm tugging on it to intentially move it, it sticks well to the glass top.- Quality: This feels like a pretty high quality pad. The stitching around the sides was well done, the material on the top is smooth and feels durable, and the rubber bottom is similar in quality to the rubber bottoms on standard mouse pads.- Look and feel: I purchased the black one, which looks great! It does show dirt and dust, but that is what black is good at. If you are looking for a mat to use in an office setting, this is a good choice. The material on the top feels nice, very smooth to the touch, and it does not seem to be holding heat when resting my hands or arms on it. When I slide my wrists or hands across the top and stitching, I do not get that scratchy feeling.Cons:- Size: Some people may find this to be too large for their desk. It is about 30" long and 15" tall. This is great for larger desks, not so great for the smaller desks (unless you want to cover your whole desk)- Initial unwrapping: It comes rolled up in a "buritto" type roll. This is great for shipping, but mine is holding that roll in places. I'm sure they will work themselves out over time, but that is something that note. You may want to put it down and put a few things on top of the parts that are humped up.In summary, this is a great mat for $10! It looks great, feels great, andworks great! If you or someone you know is looking for a good keyboard/mouse mat, this is definitely a great one to consider.july 6 2022 five star review: after using it for about a day now i can say it is very large and fits the little desk i have and use near perfectly, and the stitching is fine and it doesnt overly curl or roll too much at the edges. my main concern was how liquid resistant it would actually be since i knew it would be about the size of my desk and i eat and drink and whatnot there as well, and as we all know drinks have a tendency to drip condensation off them leaving a puddle of water. well, as far as i can tell, the liquid simply pools up into droplets as advertised, and you can pretty much just wipe the liquid off with even your hand. that area of the mat will remain ever so slightly moist for a bit which is understandable, but it doesnt take all that long for it to dry back out on its own and there will soon be almost no trace of the moist spot left. so yeah, overall this is very much worth the money and im already loving it, so far as nothing terrible happens out of nowhere with i wouldnt be surprised if this lasts and remains a five star review forever.update: just came back to say, with how wobbly my desk table thing is, this mat has taken quite a few spills since original review, and for how soft it is this thing pretty much never absorbs any of the liquid. im not sure how well it would do against hot spills as it hasnt happened yet, but for regular cold spills you can literally just take it and roll up to have the liquid slide down into a cup to dump or something, and the matt itself will only be barely most. so yeah just, this mat is wonderful and well worth the value.I'm an elbows-on-the-desk type of office person. This provides a nice little barrier between my poor elbows and the desk with enough space to type or to be overly exaggerated with the mouse (design work). The stitched edge is very nice and the surface feels good under pressure or under motion.I’ve had PCs since 1984. I’m using this pad with my laptop raised a few inches, an illuminated excellent brand keyboard and a same brand 2 optical mouse connector. The mouse slides and glides beautifully. It’s so nice that I’m buying another one for the living room laptop. Yes, I have two iPad, but I use the office mat for work and the LR mouse for gaming. You will really like this pad. And no, I haven’t been paid for the reviewI Like it! more of a nice cover for my hard surface desk ...great for writing on with ink jet pens!I use this for work. As a coder, I have plenty of room to move around with my mouse between coding and my online meetings. I like that I'm not restricted to one small area. I do wish it was a bit wider, but honestly I'm happy with it in general. Glad I got it!Very comfortable Mat. My son loves itI love these oversized mouse mats because they prevent slipping since, in addition to the mouse, the keyboard and other items are also sitting on it. I bought this mouse mat mainly because it is inexpensive. My previous mouse mat was much more pricier and wore out after a year (the mouse started tracking erratically). So far, this mouse mat has performed well. I don't see any quality difference between this and the more expensive ones. If this happens to wear out, I'll simply grab another one.Great Mouse Pad just took a while to receive though and only packaged in a plastic bag
